This morning, SDN 02 Panggang Island, North Thousand Islands students planted 224 seeds of plant that can absorb air pollutant such as avocado, sapodilla, guava, oranges, and various medicinal plants.

"Today, we are involving our students to plant seeds from 18 different plants which are given by Thousand Islands Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-department," mentioned Heni Banjar, Headmaster of SD Negeri 02 Panggang Island, Wednesday (8/21).
Students are involved in this planting because her side wants to build social values and teach them to love their environment.

"I learn how to plant trees and remember name of each trees that I planted," he conveyed.
Meanwhile, Panggang Island Urban Village Head, Pepen Kuswando appreciates trees planting movement that is held in school.
"Hopefully similar event can be carried out in the future and schools can take care the plants well," he asserted.
